Installation Guide

Downloading: Start by visiting the download channel and downloading the latest version of the mod.

Installing: Once you have downloaded the latest release of Polar Client from the discord, the installation is just like any other Minecraft mod. Drag and drop it into your mods folder.

If you are unsure on how to get to your mods folder you can do so by doing the following:

Navigate to your .minecraft folder. If you don't know how to get here type %appdata% in your windows search and it should be the first folder.

Once you're in the .minecraft folder, there should be another folder called mods. If you don't see a mods folder, you can create one.

Now click into the mods folder and drag and drop the downloaded mod into the folder.

Once the latest release of Polar Client is in the mods folder you can startup the game and continue onto the linking process.

Linking:

On initial startup there will be a message box that appears, where you can input your code.

If you do not see a message box, it is most likely due to being on the Default Minecraft Launcher. Using a different launcher, like MulitMC or Prism will resolve this issue.

When you see this message box, navigate back to the discord and click on the bot commands channel. In this channel use the /link command and the bot will respond with a code that you can copy & paste into the text box.

ATTENTION READ BELOW

The computer that you link on will be the computer you're tied to for the next 7 days. Swapping launcher's will also lock you out. The launcher you link to is what you are locked to for 7 days.

The linking process links your membership via HWID and can only be changed every 7 days.

You can use as many accounts on the same HWID as you want.

In the event that your HWID/Computer did not change but you're being asked to relink, open a support ticket.
